Prior to founding his own firm, Chris Melville was the Managing Partner of Hogan Lovells (Mongolia) LLP. Based in Mongolia since 2012, he has developed a broad-based practice in the country, including advising foreign investors, Mongolian clients and the Mongolian government on corporate and M&A, joint venture, banking and finance, and infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience of emerging market jurisdictions, having advised clients on cross-border investments relating to the Russian Federation for over 10 years prior to relocating to Mongolia, including a two-year period spent in Moscow with Hogan Lovells CIS.
Erdenedalai Odkhuu is one of the founding partners of Melville Erdenedalai LLP. Erdenedalai provides strategic legal advice, practicing mainly in the evolving and highly-demanding sectors of mining, telecommunications, energy and renewable energy, infrastructure, petroleum, and finance. He advises clients on negotiation, competition and regulatory, mergers and acquisitions, financing and security, restructuring, licensing and compliance, with particular emphasis on issues that may arise in Mongolia.
Bolormaa Gulguu is a senior associate with Melville Erdenedalai LLP. Her practice area includes general corporate and commercial law with a specific focus on corporate and M&A, natural resources and regulatory matters.
Baigalmaa is a senior associate with Melville Erdenedalai LLP. She has a wide range of experience in M&A, joint ventures, licensing, project finance and regulatory matters, with a special interest in energy and mining, and banking and finance. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for Hogan Lovells (Mongolia) LLP for 4 years.
Undraa is an associate with Melville Erdenedalai LLP. Her practice area includes various aspects of corporate and commercial law with specific focus on corporate, banking and finance, securities, mining, infrastructure projects, compliance and regulatory matters.
Usukhbayar is a Junior Associate with Melville Erdenedalai LLP. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a legal consultant to the Ulaanbaatar office of an international audit company, and recently obtained legal experience with the Frankfurt office of a major international law firm.
Shur is a Paralegal with Melville Erdenedalai LLP. Prior to joining the firm, she had her practical internship for M&E. She received her LL.B from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
Nomuundari is a Paralegal with Melville Erdenedalai LLP. Prior to joining the firm, she interned with a well-established Mongolian law firm and worked for the legal department of a major contractor to a Mongolian coal SOE.
