Our roots
The firm was founded by Chris Melville, Managing partner, and Erdenedalai Odkhuu, Mongolian-qualified partner of the Ulaanbaatar office of Hogan Lovells, a global law firm with offices in more than 25 countries worldwide. M&E was founded by management buy-out of Hogan Lovells Mongolia in 2017. The combination of international and Mongolian law experience allows the firm to approach client matters from the perspective of both domestic and global best practices and uniquely positioned to offer both English and Mongolian law advice under one roof.
