REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Advising and assisting the Japanese energy developer on negotiation of an investment agreement with the Government of Mongolia with project value of over US$ 1 Billion.

  • Advising a major development bank on the restructuring of a secured loan and issuing a new loan to a major Mongolian financial and industrial group totaling US$130 million.

  • Advising a major development bank on the restructuring of a loan and issuing a new loan to a Mongolian conglomerate group of companies totaling US$110 million.

  • Advising major foreign-invested companies with strategic mining deposits on various corporate, licensing, regulatory, and administrative matters.

  • Advising foreign banks with respect to issuance of bonds by Mongolian entities in the foreign stock exchanges. 

  • Advising and assisting the Japanese energy developer on negotiation of an investment agreement with the Government of Mongolia with project value of over US$ 1 Billion.

  • Advising the Government of Mongolia on all aspects of the proposed 315 MW  reservoir-based hydroelectric power plant project on the Eg river, including negotiating and executing a US$1 Billion General Loan Agreement with China.

  • Advising on the issuance of US$500 million sovereign bonds under the Government's US$5 billion Global Medium Term Note Program.

  • Advising international and regional solar power developers on 10-50MW solar power generation projects in Mongolia.

  • Advising a major Mongolian supplier of heavy equipment and machinery on an equity to debt conversion and settlement during arbitration proceedings;  

  • Advising a Japanese construction company and its Mongolian group of companies on reorganisation, M&A and relevant tax issues;

  • Advising EBRD on Capital Markets Legal and Regulatory Reform Project in Mongolia.

  • Advising foreign banks and financial institutions with respect to various financial transactions, including GMRA, ISDA, financial lease etc.,

  • Advising foreign and Mongolian companies with respect to EPC, EPCM, construction agreements, and on various corporate, licensing, tax, FDI, land, leasing laws of Mongolia.
