  • Advising the Government of Mongolia on sovereign bond issuances totaling US$3.3 billion, and Mongolian corporate entities on bond issuances in international markets totaling US$425 million, along with subsequent restructuring and refinancing, and the issuance of Mongolian law opinions.

  • Advising various International Financial Institutions and Multilateral Development Banks on secured and unsecured loans exceeding US$1 billion to major Mongolian companies across the mining, banking and financing, manufacturing, and trading sectors, including subsequent loan restructuring, equity to debt conversions, and the issuance of Mongolian law opinions.

  • Advising international solar power developers on 10-50MW solar power generation projects, including advising a major Japanese company in establishing joint ventures for solar power plants in the Tuv and Dornogovi provinces of Mongolia.

  • Advising a major Mongolian supplier of heavy equipment and machinery on an equity-to-debt conversion and settlement process during a US$68 million arbitration conducted by HKIAC for a private equity investment dispute.

  • Advising a leading Singaporean real estate development and investment company on the US$4 million sale of building and land rights. 

  • Advising a foreign investor on all aspects of a 50MW renewable energy generation project, including proposed amendments to the Power Purchase Agreement. 

  • Advising an American spacecraft manufacturer and satellite communications company in obtaining essential telecommunication licenses required for its operations in Mongolia.

  • Advising a Japanese construction company and its Mongolian subsidiaries on reorganization, M&A and pertinent tax considerations.

  • Advising a US-based global development company and the Government of Mongolia in the preparation of tender documentation for a copper smelter project.

  • Advising a Chinese investor on the proposed transfer of a lithium mining license.

  • Advising a Swedish multinational company on Mongolian legal aspects of financial products, including asset-based lending, factoring, finance leasing and operational leasing. 

  • Advising EBRD on legal and regulatory reforms in Mongolia’s capital markets.
